Despite the kinky sex, the storyline was quite good. Though not a lot detail into the world of Zemelda, you kinda' get the gist of it. A family of thieves who go out to other planets and bring back valuables. The main character(Bennu) is sexed crazed. That is all she thinks about. She is sent to a planet to get Topaz gems from the mine, but her director didn't know that the mines are guarded by demons and other creatures underground. While attempting to enter, she is caught.This demon has got her juices flowing, and they end up having sex. The demon considers her his mate. While attempting to escape the other demon guards, she and her demon lover are rescued by her brothers. Hopefully more details will follow in the next book. The sex scenes are very explicit. Stuck in a place where all life ends, love conquers all. It was hot & a nice change of pace to find someone, or thing, who had given up on life to find "love/lust" fall into his lap. A short hot tidbit worth your time
This is a short erotic ride. There is a bit of character and world development. Don't expect full book. This is a glimpse into a pirate woman finding her perfect match. This will appeal to those who just need a quick hot read.
Like most books that sell themselves as hot romance with spanking your expecting some kind of bdsm thing. This on the other hand was so tame it was weak. The plot was weak, the characters were thin, and the sex scenes were mild at best. I'd like to say something better but that would be an out an out lie.
I enjoyed this short hot read from the moment I picked it up. I have a dominant streak myself, so I could identify with the leading lady. Having said that, I also enjoy a dominant male, and who wouldn't enjoy one of this caliber and skill set. Wow, the only thing bad about this was, it was over as soon as it started getting good!
This book was not lacking when it came to sex however the storyline seemed like a complete after thought. Bennu is a thief by trade and likes to be dominated. She likes to get caught for the excitement of punishment but her people are getting tired of her ways. They send her to a planet to steal some stones and she ends up having hot sex with a demon. Storyline complete.
I really enjoyed this little paranormal erotica, the passionate scenes are very well written and described with vivid vocabulary that you don't often read in erotic novels. I will admit the steamy scenes had me pressing my thighs together more then once, and that to me is a good romance read. Over all very steamy, but not too hard core kinky, which is fine with me. The only issue I had with the story would be that personally, I felt the author didn't do that great of a job describing the main characters, I could never quite get a mental visual of what any of the characters really looked like.

This is not a book to be taken seriously, not at all. I mean really, a female pirate who likes to get caught...because being caught apparently equals sex. I guess it never occurred to anyone to just shoot thieves. Go figure. It's ridiculous. Having said that, it's supposed to be and when taken with the appropriate truck load of salt it's a lot of fun. I noticed a few typos and at 38 pages it's not very long, but it was an enjoyable quickie.
On an unrelated side note, except for the fact that this short was apparently later expanded into a longer piece involving cats, I have no clue what the lion on the cover is about. There's not a single cat in the book.
